Permissions, expiry and revocation

Each agent connection grants specific capabilities across the owning account’s projects on this device.

Permission groups

PermissionAllows
ReadProject facts, source pages, campaigns, designs, templates, assets, renders, exports, history and publishing status. Required.
WriteProject and campaign edits, editable design creation, layer edits, templates, resizing, uploads and imports.
PublishProvider drafts, schedules, immediate publishing and edits to existing drafts or schedules.
DeleteDeleting designs and removing provider posts or scheduled publications.

Project-specific grants are not currently available. If a connection should not publish, leave Publish off. Hidden tools cannot be executed simply by guessing their name.

Lifetime and limits

Connections default to 90 days and can last 1–365 days. An account can have up to 20 active connections on a device. Connections do not sync to another Mac. Configure a separate one there if needed.

The gateway permits 120 requests per connection per minute and limits request bodies to 8 MiB. Image uploads and design-file imports through agent tools have a 5 MiB decoded-file limit. Use the app for larger supported files.

Review activity

Active connections show their names, scopes, expiry and recent use. Recent agent activity records tool names, times and outcomes. It does not log prompts, captions or tokens.

Revoke access

Choose Revoke for a connection you no longer need. Revocation blocks future calls; it does not cancel a tool already in progress. If a token is lost or exposed, revoke it and create a new connection. Tokens cannot be recovered from the UI after dismissal.

Troubleshoot

A connection error can mean Doodi is closed, signed out, using a different port, or the token expired. A permission error can mean the requested capability was not granted. A revision conflict means the agent must read the current design and merge the intended change. Do not solve a conflict by removing revision checks.
