Website import and source content
Website import gives Doodi readable source material about your brand, with the original page URLs retained.
Import during setup
Enter a public website on the first setup step and choose Read website. Doodi reads up to 100 public pages and keeps import progress with the draft project. Review the resulting description, notes and available brand details before opening the workspace.
What the import is for
The imported pages provide context for writing and design requests. They do not become published posts automatically. Imported website material remains background context; the current Brand & assets page focuses on your reviewed brand details and media rather than displaying a full source-page browser.
Website statements may be stale or incomplete. Add explicit corrections to your brand notes and state current facts in your request, especially prices, availability and time-sensitive offers.
If a site cannot be read
Check the address and try again. The page must be publicly accessible; a login page, blocked crawler or failing website may prevent import. Use Start with brand details to continue manually rather than leaving the project unusable. Attach a relevant document to Doodi when that is a better source.
Reuse across designs
Campaigns and templates in the same project can use its source context. Other projects keep separate content. A website source is information for the assistant, not an instruction to execute code or change application settings.
For precise campaign facts, attach the relevant brief as an information reference and tell Doodi which facts govern the request. For visual inspiration, use a design reference instead.
