Getting startedInstall Doodi

Install Doodi

Install the Mac app, sign in to your Doodi account, and connect AI access before creating your first design.

Download and launch

  1. Open Doodi downloads  and choose the Mac download offered for your device.
  2. Open the downloaded disk image and move Doodi to Applications.
  3. Launch Doodi from Applications. Follow macOS’s normal confirmation for a downloaded application.
  4. Sign in using the same account you use on the Doodi website. New users can create an account through the sign-up flow.

The current public desktop release targets Apple Silicon Macs. Check the download page for the supported release and system requirements before installing. These guides also show features in the current development build; an older installed app may have fewer controls.

Activate this Mac

A paid account may need to activate the current Mac. Use the license associated with your account or enter your activation key when requested. If all device slots are in use, deactivate a Mac you no longer use in License & devices, then retry. See licenses and devices.

Connect the AI assistant

Open Doodi from the blue button at the bottom of the canvas. Follow its sign-in prompt if AI access is not connected. Doodi’s account and your AI account serve different purposes: the first owns your projects and license; the second provides model access and usage.

You can still inspect saved work while diagnosing an AI connection. A failed model request does not mean your project was deleted.

Confirm you are ready

Create a project, add a logo and brand notes, and open a campaign. The assistant’s model control should show an available model. Make a small design request and wait for the artwork to render. Then use your first design to try editing and exporting.

Keep the app open until saves and sync finish. For a failed sign-in, missing workspace or startup problem, see troubleshooting.
